Genaue Windmesswerte am Boden erh?lt man aber nur mit diesem unerl?sslichen Helfer fr Fernpiloten. Er liefert konkrete Zahlen um die Flugbedingungen im Rahmen der Drohnenparameter besser einsch?tzen zu k?nnen und erm?glicht si Eins?tze im Grenzbereich. Das Ger?t passt auf viele kleine Stative, so dass man das Ger?t den ganzen Drohneneinsatz ber an einem geeigneten Platz stehen lassen kann, Meine Wahl viel auch auf dieses Teil, weil es im Gegensatz zu vielen sowohl ein kleines Windrad als auch herk?mmliche AAA Mikro Batterien statt Knopfzellen verwendet.

I like this meter.
I just wanted a meter to get an idea of wind speed before flying my drone.
This fits my needs perfectly,also the thermometer is an added bonus.
I have read where others have issues with the other complicated measurements,but as my needs are basic I cant comment on those issues.
The case is neat,the meter has the screw socket for fitting on a tripod,(which also doubles as the socket for the carrying strap).
The display is nice and big and the backlight is a useful feature.
I can see where some people are confused by saying it accepts 2 AAA batteries(which is not the case)on the back of the battery compartment it does say 2 AAA batteries,but upon opening the compartment there is a lithium 3.7v modular battery which you have to connect before use.
The charging is via USB-C cable which is provided and thats a nice touch,where so many rechargeable items still come with micro usb these days.
All in all I like this anemometer,with the caveat that my uses for it are basic.
On that note I would not hesitate to recommend it,if your uses are more complex then you may want to look elsewhere.

The menus on this thing are atrocious. They behave abnormally when modifying settings, entering values, or even just navigating them. I entered my measurement in FT and it switched to Meters! This happened every time I modified a value, which is extremely frustrating.

However, if you push through that, it does seem to yield accurate measurements. It's just not worth the hassle with the menus however, it takes far more time and effort than it should. Cannot recommend

I ordered this unit to be able to accurately make adjustments for windage when target shooting. The unit is very easy to use and gives all the info you need to adjust for windage when shooting a distances to ensure you stay on target. This unit has a multitude of uses and would be an excellent choice for determining wind flow in heating and cooling vents for multilevel houses.

The unit is easily charged and lasts for a long period of time in the field. You have the choice of different measurements and I can see this being very useful for people flying drone to make sure they are not flying in circumstances beyond the drones capability. One reviewer said it can use AAA batteries but the rechargeable unit I recieved does not have any terminals inside to use AAA batteries, just thought it was worth mentioning in case other think it has that capability. A simple to use unit with a wide range of uses. Happy with the order and fast delivery.

This anemometer can serve you in all manner of ways. I initially purchased it as I am a SKYWARN weather spotter and there is no better way to report actual wind speeds than a quality tool like this.

Now that I see how sensitive it is (*see video of the fresh air intake of my A/C unit...) I am sure to use it for more than just that!

It has a screw on battery cover on the back that is labeled two AA batteries. This is not the case as it has a rechargeable battery behind the cover and a USB C charging port right above it. You will need to remove the battery cover though as this ships with the battery disconnected and it needs connected to charge and operate. - A simple thing for a number one phillips head screwdriver.

I am very impressed with this an will surely use it on things like readings of wind speed out of the exhaust of server systems. Make no mistake, this thing is VERY sensitive, just speaking in front of it spins up its measurement fan! I cannot believe it is this affordable! Five stars!
